One of the great things about blogging is its ability to expand your reach.
It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, there is never a shortage of topics for both your current and potential customers.
For example, if you own a baby food company, you would surely post about your products, but you could only do that so many times without the risk of losing readership. Start to think about what else your customers would want to read about. While still staying within your industry’s realm, you could start to blog about natural and organic foods, how you source your ingredients, what fruits and veggies are in season, or even provide age appropriate food lists.
Another example might be a coffee shop owner that supplies beans for purchase. You could blog about everything from how to brew coffee at home, recommended equipment, why specialty coffee is worth the cost, or explain the coffee roasting process.
Adding different blog categories and topics applies to every business and every industry. The list of possibilities is endless. Just think about your customer base, new and potential, and consider what might interest them.
